Kim Burrell's No Ways Tired already reaping Awards success.

Kim Burrell has been nominated in first round voting in two of the music industry's most prestigious award academies. She is up for nomination ins four categories for the 2010 Stellar Awards including; Artist of the year Song of the year - Jesus Contemporary female vocalist of the year Contemporary CD of the year. She is also up for nomination in three categories for the 2010 52nd Annual Grammy Awards.

The incomparable Kim Burrell is releasing her first new studio album in nine years on Shanachie Entertainment on April 7 titled "No Ways Tired."

The Gospel/Jazz great, who is often called "this generation's Ella Fitzgerald" and who has appeared nationwide and on recordings with the likes of everyone from Beyoncé Knowles to Stevie Wonder, has created her most inspired work to date in her ground breaking career with her CD “No Ways Tired.”

"No Ways Tired" is titled after the James Cleveland classic of the same name. This and other sacred classics from the Gospel repertoire are lovingly re-imagined. Highlights include the great prayer classic "My Faith Looks Up To Thee," featuring producer Chris “Big Dog” Davis on keyboards)
